Well, here is one New Year's resolution I have kept...we canceled cable. I think this will be more painful for me than for anyone else (College football just ended). We will see how long we can go without it, hopefully for all of 2009!

Jason would die! He can not live without sports. I have done it before and it's great (especially now that most shows are online:))
How funny...we cancelled cable about 4 months ago. My husband was on board with me, until a few weeks after we cancelled and he realized he would be missing some Boise State football games that were on ESPN. Luckily we have plenty of friends and family who are still cable owners! We almost never watched cable and other than the occasional sporting event haven't missed it at all. We do still have Tivo (can't do without that)! By the way, yes you can post my christmas card on the manhattan blog. I will try to get you more.
I'm impressed - what a great resolution! Your family can spend lots of quality time together. Good luck with that!
